Alongside the return of popular favorites, the fair will also welcome a host of first-time exhibitors.
The Liste Art Fair Basel is making its anticipated return next week at Hall 1.1 of Messe Basel, ready to host 91 galleries, including 23 first-time exhibitors from 35 different countries. Scheduled for June 10–16, 2024, the fair will feature special guests such as the House of Electronic Arts with its dedicated booth, and curator Elise Lammer, who has devised a series of performances throughout the event.
Peter Bläuer, the co-founder of Liste Art Fair Basel who has been at the helm for over twenty years, takes on the role of interim artistic director this year. Reflecting on the fair’s significance, he remarked, “Nearly every emerging gallery aspires to join Liste and be part of this vital platform in Basel. We’re thrilled to once again showcase the most promising new galleries and their artists to a global community of connoisseurs. I am delighted to collaborate with Stiftung Liste Basel in advancing the next wave of galleries. There’s nothing more gratifying than offering support. So, esteemed connoisseurs, pay close attention!
